GBM Bahrain is the original home of GBM in the region and continues today to be a core pillar of the work the company conducts across the region.
GBM Bahrain was founded in 1990 and the original headquarters of the company at its inception. With a team of over 130, the office is led by Country General Manager, Abdulla Ishaq.
The team offers a broad range of the latest in technology and networking including management consulting and design with integration planning, asset management, testing and capacity planning for future growth. At its core, GBM Bahrain has a number of high-profile customers within the Government ministries of the country as well as skills within a range of private sector industries, such as banking, telecommunications, manufacturing, oil and gas and SMEs.
GBM Bahrain brings local knowledge and expertise of the IT landscape, working in close collaboration with its sister offices around the region in order to implement the latest IT solutions.
General Manager, GBM Bahrain
Abdulla Ishaq is the general manager for GBM Bahrain, the Bahrain-based division of Gulf Business Machines (GBM) responsible for the growth of the business in the Bahrain market.
Abdulla began his career with IBM as a Customer Engineer in 1985 and joined GBM’s Bahrain unit when it was formed in 1990. Since then he has held a number of positions in the company, working within the sales team and as marketing manager, before taking the helm as general manager for Bahrain.
