GBM Oman was founded in 1990, and is one of the most prominent IT provides in the Sultanate. Led by Country General Manager Iyad Alchammat, the team of almost 100, have well-established themselves as go-to-experts in the country.
The team’s customer portfolio includes some the largest public and private sector enterprises in the country. Working to understand their client's industries in great depth and are therefore able to provide strong, sound advice to the customer on how IT can support their business objectives.
Within GBM the Oman team is responsible for coordinating and leveraging the required resources and efforts from across the organization to support the achievement of its strategic revenue and growth objectives.

Iyad Alchammat is the General Manager for GBM in Oman, he’s responsible for aligning the company with the region’s rapid change in the IT sector. Alchammat’s leadership will continue to develop GBM Oman’s customer portfolio, which includes some of the largest public and private sector enterprises in the country.
His 20 years of system integration, strategy, and operations experience - including 12 years in a number of senior roles at Cisco such as General Manager for Yemen, Oman and Afghanistan - will ensure that GBM Oman builds on its commitment to provide world-class IT consultancy that supports the growth of companies across the Sultanate.
