GBM Kuwait was founded in 1990 and has grown to a team of 170 IT specialists. Led by General Manager Riccardo Palumbo, GBM Kuwait provides a range of tailored solutions to the vastly evolving Kuwait IT market.
The Kuwait office works closely with governmental organisations as well as private sectors, specifically banking, oil & gas and telecommunication companies. The team has works closely with government ministries in order to support the e-Government drive, by providing international solutions and applications, including recent projects, most recently with the Ministry of Interior.
The Kuwait team leverages it’s on the ground knowledge and expertise, together with its strong regional network to ensure the latest IT technologies are designed and deployed through the advantage of international solutions and a strong, collaborative regional network.
General Manager, GBM Kuwait
Riccardo Palumbo is the Country General Manager for GBM in Kuwait, appointed in this role in October 2015, as responsible for growing the business locally and maintaining relationships within the country.
Riccardo brings to GBM over 25 years of experience in information technology and business services, working at companies such as IBM and Accenture, where he has covered different roles and responsibilities, across Europe and the Middle East, focusing in the past 12 years on the market in Kuwait. Riccardo’s experience includes managing large global clients, leading complex business & IT clients’ transformation programs across different sectors.
